Kodi Community Forum

Hi Guys and a very good morning to one and all.

I have an Android media player, running kodi 15.2.

I'm having a bit of connectivity issues ie connecting to the internet. My media player is connected to the router via Ethernet.

Just as an aside, I have no other connectivity issues from a phone or tablet. I'm only using Kodi for YouTube and to Check the weather. The response is either slow, or no connection at all.

Is there some place I can go, to enter any specific things within kodi?

I had a look at settings, under webserver it's the following:

Allow remote control via http: ticked
Port:8080
Web interface: default webinterface

Then under system

User proxy server: ticked
Proxy type: http
Server: blank
Port: 8080
Username and password also blank

Anything I'm missing here?

Do not "tick" proxy server if you're not using one.
