Hi I have a problem. In xbmc, sony dvds keep locking up at the warning/copyright screen (ironic). This happens on sienfeld dvd sets and ghostbusters dvds. They play fine in dash, but I hate the wide screen..
(note: these dvds are originals)

Is it protection causing this? and is there any new versions to get around this. Thanks.

Hmmm sounds like it. What I think it is though, is the copy protection on sony dvds (acos something?) it's even a pain to copy them (tried to make a copy to play it on my xbox... my other dvd players are stored away meh) anydvd got around it, maybe you could put some sort of on the fly decrypting thing in the dvd player? or maybe thats a long shot
