Kodi Community Forum

Can anyone point me in the right direction for Kodi APIs? I would like to make a desktop app to control Kodi playback (e.g. Play/Pause/Skip-Ahead).

I have the Kodi iOS app, which allows remote control, so obviously it's possible. But, a google search for details came up empty..

Thanks for the pointer. I'll have to figure out how to pull the details out of JSON-RPC.. I haven't worked with that before. I have used the MythTV TCP control protocol, which was quite simple.. I'll have to ramp up on JSON-RPC.
