Hello guys,
i am building a home cinema room and i would like to build an automated screen masking.
For this project, i need a way to receive information about the running content's screen format. (16:9/ 21:9).
My idea was to trigger the json-rpc api for a several interval. But i don't find any information about receiving information about the screen format. I hoped i would find informations in Player.GetItem http://kodi.wiki/view/JSON-RPC_API/v6#Player.GetItem - but it doesn't seem so. Is there another api endpoint, which gives me the searched informations?
Any idea? Maybe i overlook something. If this thread is created in the wrong forum, sorry for this. The search function didn't help me, maybe i used the wrong terms.
