Not sure if this is a software or hardware issue so bear with me. I have a BENQ W1070 projector that allows for 3d playback. In order to do so, when I select the 3d movie in Kodi, I get prompted to select a format and then I still need to tell the projector to switch to 3d mode (even though its set to auto in the menu) and it will play. My movie title format is name.3d.hsbs.mkv or .mp4. Should I switch that to name.3d.sbs.mkv? I'm using this with an Intel NUC running ubuntu 15.10 and Fritsch's configuration. I would like the whole process to be seamless so when we select a movie we just put the glasses on and the projector and kodi realize what's going on and play accordingly.

Is this a pipe dream or is it possible to do and I've not just configured everything properly?

(edited because I used the wrong bear/bare)
