Hello, I am running a mygica atv 1800e and I am trying to figure out the steps I need to take to configure my external SD card to store video cache. If anyone is aware of a video tutorial on how to do this please let me know. I have tried what I can find online but have been unsuccessful. Thank you for your help.
Moving the user data files to SD + "zero"/local memory cache mode will do that, but you don't need to do that. Just increase the RAM cache amount if you are having issues. If that doesn't fix that then it's highly unlikely that any amount of cache increase will "fix" anything. Yes, even if you've read otherwise on other sites or YouTube videos. There is a massive amount of misinformation about this feature.
