So, some anime has differences in the dub and sub, commonly the sub will have english hardcoded over the japanese text for things like building signs etc, so there's more of a difference then just the audio. As such, simply having one video with selectable audio isn't always the solution.

If I have both files, how should I deal with this for Kodi? Given that each episode is seen by the scraper as being basically the same file, is there any way to have the show presented in the UI as perhaps "ShowName (sub)" and "ShowName (dub)" ?

Thanks.
One way would be scan everything into the library, export to nfo files, then manually edit the titles in the nfo files. Probably not a great solution if you have a lot of titles, though. Similarly, you could Edit Title from the context menu. Not sure of a better solution. Hopefully somebody has another idea for you to try.
