Kodi Community Forum

Hi,

So last night i got a raspberry pi 2b for christmas, excited as i was i installed the device with OpenELEC (6.0.0) and booted up the system.
I heard from a friend that you could use your android phone as a remote in Kodi.

So I downloaded the Kore app from the playstore and watched a youtube guide and read the guides on how to install the phone as a remote.

I enter everything correctly, yet i keep seeing a message (on my phone) ''Couldn't connect to Kodi/XBMC. Check the configurations.''

Anybody here who can help me set it up correctly?

Enable webcontrol in Kodi settings

I have everything set up as its supposed yo be.
Even changed the port from 80 to 8080 but nothing helps.

For some reason after resetting my router my rapsberry IP changed and i could connect it to my phone.
