Hi Guys,

i'm new here and new in using kodi, but i have a big problem by starting the App on my Mac.

It was my first opening and it crashes. I have deleted after the first crash the folder on application support etc but it's the same problem. I have repair all the harddisk -> same issue.

Here is the bugreport -> http://pastebin.com/5LVfNnaz

I hope you can help me!

Thanks a lot,
Funky P.
Always a good idea to post a debug log (wiki) along with the crash report. Look in the "Advanced" section for instructions to enable debug logging from advancedsettings.xml.
I tried to solve the issue with the advancedsettings.xml -> the same Sad

now the debug log -> http://xbmclogs.com/pxraaikd5
Try using version 15.2 from http://kodi.tv/download
i tried few versions and its the same. i have a second display on mac mac. it is the issue? !
Also, that's not a debug log. If you created the advancedsettings.xml file there is some problem with it.
Which of the debugging you mean?

1. - 1.2.1 advancedsettings.xml for normal debugging
2. - 1.2.2 advancedsettings.xml for input devices
3. - 1.2.3 advancedsettings.xml for everything

Did you delete ~/Library/Application Support/Kodi each time you installed a new version?
yes! maybe i need to make a restart?

Normal debugging 1.2.1. I notice the article doesn't mention that the XML file must be formatted as utf-8.
i checked now and it is formatted as utf-8 :/ after create the advancedsettings.xml .. where is the file? it is on /Users/<username>/Library/Logs/kodi.log? or for what is the advancedsettings.xml file?
It needs to be installed into ~/Library/Application Support/Kodi/userdata/

Since you have deleted the Kodi folder you may need to try to launch the Kodi app. It should create these folders again in your user library before it crashes. After the crash you can add the advancedsettings.xml file to your userdata folder and try to launch the app again. This time the log created should be much more complete.
Ok i tried this version, but its the same. I deleted the kodi folder, launch the app and put the file into the userdata folder. Is this the right file? http://xbmclogs.com/pqv3g7ess
I'm not much good at debugging. My best guess, the last line of the log shows that a CD ROM was detected with an unsupported file system. Do you have any disks mounted? Maybe an external drive or reader?

This is just a guess but maybe it'll help.
i have a iMac without cd rom and no external cd rom. i have 2 external harddisks. i eject them and its the same issue. :/
