Since some time (ever) I have the problem with CEC that when I use CEC it connects to my Samsung TV (via my Marantz AV Receiver).
I can control Kodi and use the remote like it supposed to be.
However when I suspend kodi and/or standby the receiver the connection is broken and not restored.
I need to reconnect in the Samsung menu (television).
Setup:
Kodi (latest GIT) -> Pulse Eight CEC -> Marantz (2014 model) -> Samsung TV (2015 model)
Is there a remedy for my problem? I control my receiver with CEC no problem at all (volume control). Only the TV is problematic.
For example: do I need to relocate the CEC device in the HDMI chain to have it staying connected with my TV?
