ello.

I have just purchased a TT TV Box from with KODI loaded onto it.

I have hooked the box upto my WiFi & TV but can not play any films. I get an error message stating, 'One or more files failed to play. Please check log.'

I am based in the UK if that would make any difference.

Is there a quick fix please?

well, in your other (trashed) post you mentioned you're having the issues with banned add-ons not playing a movie. If only these fail but videos from add-on of our official repository (such as youtube) work just fine, the bug is likely not on our end. In that case you have to contact the authors of these illegal add-ons or ask for support from the vendor/seller of the box.

If this is however a general issue with Kodi not playing anything from the internet, then please provide a Debug Log

But as @da-anda says, we do not support any Kodi installation contaminated with banned add-ons (wiki), nor do we support "fully loaded" boxes as per our forum rules (wiki) as they are provided in breach of the Kodi Foundation's terms of service.
