Kodi Community Forum - Acer Iconia Tab8 issue w/ Kodi

Hi

Trying to install Kodi 15.2 on my new Acer Iconia Tab8 but it fails to start up. After installing I get the "running for first time" screen then it goes black and I get the Kodi has stopped error.
I tried 14+ versions too.

My tablet has the following specs:
Intel Quad
CPU Bay Trail-T Z3745
Android 4.4.2

I'm loading the Android Arm version.

Any ideas as to what might be wrong and how to fix ?

Intel CPU's use the X86 architecture on Android not ARM.
Intel makes their own CPU's, I don't think they will use their competitor's architecture.

I had tried the x86 version also when i first checked and realized it had the intel chip but it did not work. However after reading your reply I downloaded a fresh x86 of 15.2 and it seems to be working now. I thank you for your reply !!
