Hello im interested in using a pay service instead of free links.im not looking for pay sites im just asking is it better on the pay site?
First you need to understand the difference between video add-ons (internet steaming) and true "PVR" add-ons (for PVR backends that connect to physical tuners or IPTV) in the context of Kodi.

Read http://kodi.wiki/view/PVR and http://kodi.wiki/view/PVR_backend

The link that bry-posted is a video add-on and not a "PVR" add-on and as such discussion about it does not belong in this subsection of the forums.

@Chris246810, you have to post which country you live in and preferably also which county to have a better chance of getting a proper answer.
Ok thank you im looking for the pvr back end isnt that something thats not an add on and would work like an reg system with epg? I have tried pvr add ons and none of them worked i didnt get any channels or epg so im trying a paying site.

I couldn't disagree with you more! its semantics... absolutely no current pvr backends provide content.

I see no difference between a pvr backend supplying content from a third party program, when compared with a pvr backend (ie. IPTV simple) using a plugin (ie. USTVnow) to generate content. The current build of USTVnow can build m3u/strm and xmltv files for IPTV simple.
So yous are saying that u need both to work together. In order for iptv to work. Isnt a bought contant better then free cause its more stable
So if the backend dont supply content what are u paying for?

Pay is not only stable for most sources, its legal... anything else is piracy or a hijacked feed.

You need to brush up on some Kodi fundamentals... there is a difference between a service and the software that plays it.
Well thats what i mean. Kodi has the software to play it but the service.is what your paying for weather it be here or any where in the world

I'm not even talking about the content or the the format/protocol used for streaming IPTV from the internet, no I'm only talking about in which subforums that addons using different API interfaces in Kodi should be discussed.

What I meant is that "Python Scripts" add-ons should not be dicussed here in the "PVR" subforums because they are not using the integrated PVR frontend or client API in Kodi.

That is, this specfific subforum is only about add-ons that have extension point "xbmc.pvrclient" and are of the type "PVR"http://kodi.wiki/view/Category:PVR_add-ons, meaning of the ones available here https://github.com/kodi-pvr

Also see that this "PVR" sunforum description specifically says "For all support questions related to using Kodi as a frontend to third party PVR backends", and the Kodi.tv wiki describe the deffinition of "PVR" in this this context here http://kodi.wiki/view/PVR and what a backend is here http://kodi.wiki/view/PVR_backend

This might be feel like semantics to use, but until Kodi's PVR API support Python Scripts based add-ons and the add-on discussed is actually using Kodi's PVR interface thenI don't think that the discussion belong in this "PVR" subsection of the forums.

So if if you want to discuss a video addon like the one ustvnow.com then you should not take offence when refered to the video add-on forum = http://forum.kodi.tv/forumdisplay.php?fid=154

No one's taking offence... I think you are overly concerned about the sub-forum the post was made in, that you are loosing track of the question asked. IMO the question trumps the topic.. "PVR" is a broad term, i'm sure many noob users find their way in here looking for live tv content.

"Hello im interested in using a pay service instead of free links.im not looking for pay sites im just asking is it better on the pay site?"

On the average point out one PVR topic that doesn't discuss NextPVR, or MCE, or mediabrowser... all of which have nothing to do with Kodi and only provide a hook for the PVR backend... USTVnow also provides a hook for a PVR backend... semantics!

But the point is that your USTVnow addo-on does not as or yet use Kodi's PVR API nor use the Kodi's Live TV and EPG frontend GUI, therefore USTVnow is not a "PVR" add-on in the context of this subforum.

If you want to change this then please consider convincing Kodi's PVR developers to extend the PVR API to add native support or write a special PVR client add-on in C with some kind of wrapper support for Python Scripts addons.

Just have a forum moderator move this thread if you insist on discussing (Python Script) addons that do not use the PVR API or otherwise just ask the original poster to start a new dicussion thread in the video addon subforum.
Oh for heavens sake children, stop it.

Children? We are having a discussion... Are those not allowed here?

I believe you are so fundamentally wrong it's beyond arguing... PVR plugins on the majority do not provide content... So the means of content delivery thru the pvr fits the criteria of this topic.

We will agree to disagree, since @nickr is against discussing counter points...
Sorry it seemed to have got a bit snippy/personal. Discuss away...
