Hi guys

Not sure if this is a Tvheadend thing or general Kodi PVR thing, but here goes.

On my HTPC, Kodi shows a wrong elapsed time (and thus also wrong remaining time). Every three seconds or so, the count returns to its previous state. So, it's rotating about three seconds over and over again.

It only does this in my PVR, and I only have a tvheadend PVR, so I can't test it with other PVRs. With Youtube or MKVs or something, there's no problem.

I have a video here: https://vid.me/KroV

Any ideas? Hadn't had the time yet to create a debug log, dunno if it will help.

I first noticed it when I updated from Kodi Jarvis beta 4 to beta 5. However, about the same time I also updated my tvheadend backend from a few months back to the latest from github (compiled from the latest source yesterday).
Does the same thing happen with the default confluence skin? Is this with Live tv or recording?
Only with live tv it seems. I just tested it with the latest nightly from both Kodi and tvheadend again. Same stuff.

Here is a debug log. I'm watching a channel in which it happens from 14:50:00.

I haven't tested another skin, but the same times show up on my LCD display (on the HTPC itself), so I guess it's not skin-related.
I'm experiencing same problem after upgrading tvheadend to recent nightly builds. (4.1.1363)
If I downgrade the tvheadend package back to ~4.1.894 (last nightly which I upgraded from) it goes away. So looks like this issue is introduced in recent tvheadend package.

(Also using kodi-pvr-hts 2.1.18-1-vivid, kodi 15.2)
Dug a little deeper into this.
It appears to have been introduced between tvheadend builds 4.1.1286 & 4.1.1298 on ~Jan 3rd. I notice a lot of changes checked in around timeshift then. It must have broke this.

Not too sure how to raise a bug in tvheadend! Perhaps already reported.
Well done. I see you made a bug report at https://tvheadend.org/issues/3505 .

I'll see tonight if I can create a pvr.hts debug log.
Here is a debug log with extra HTS info. I started watching TV at 19:24:06.
Unfortunately with the extra info from the HTS add-on, in a few minutes, my kodi.log file was 30MB. Big Grin So i just cropped to the first 10 seconds of watching. Wink

Perex fixed it today, should function in the next nightly! Well, that's fast Big Grin
