Is there a way to sort favorites alphabetically in Kodi?

No but you can rearrange them yourself using the context menu.
I'm surprised such a basic feature would be left out. If you have 20+ favorites, moving them via up/down in the context menu is not feasible.
You could view them in Super Favourites and set that to sort them alphabetically
Super Favorites has problems. Under Leia it won't run many links to movies, shows, etc. Others have had similar problems under Krypton.
