Is it important performance-wise which storage is used to run openelec/kodi? Currently I have a beebox with a far from being fastest USB flash drive. Sometimes lags are very noticeable with some heavy skin being used. Is it worth it to upgrade to let's say some SSD?
SSD would be optimum faster loading, or you could use a 3.0 USB minimum 8 gig storage. Though I do have one running off of 4 gig 3.0 USB. And it seems to run pretty flawlessly haven't really noticed lag in usage.
I use a usb2 4GB drive currently. But I have a usb3 16GB one. Will try it then. Thanks for feedback!
