Sometime over the last few months I selected the "Remove forced subtitles (experimental)" or something of that ilk.
Unfortunately, I can't find that setting in the current settings menu, and I would like it back.
Please can someone tell me where that option is ?
I am using Kodi 16.0 beta5 on an Androind 5.1 box.

Such a setting doesn't sound familiar to me. Do you mean a way to turn off all subtitles, even forced subtitles? I think there should be such an option in v16 under Settings -> Videos -> Subtitles -> Default language (not sure on exact path, but something like that).

No it's not that one. The setting actually said something about hiding subtitles, and the word "experimental"

I just can't find it now. It was probably on an earlier build, or a skin, and has now been removed, but the setting has maybe "stuck".
