If I use the old XBMC builds or the early Kodi releases, the iso playback is smooth and clear on the FireTV and stick,
If I load the newer versions, the playback is choppy and laggy in deinterlace mode, and looks like crap in interlaced mode.
All my settings are the same.

also the skip foward has a delay.

A big step backwards, any one know what changed?

I tried the beta release and the same thing. Kodi is going backwards fast.

You changed the codec settings, didn't you?
What codec have your enabled?

Decoding Method - tried both off, both on, one or the other- no difference

Those settings do not change anything
