Hi,

I'm new to kodi and I would like to know what I have to do if I want to safe my music files from changing the tags while accessing them with kodi. Is there something to configure to prevent files from getting changed?

kodi doesn't change your files.

Thank you very much. Where is the additional information (Album Art, Fanart etc.) stored, Kodi shows?

Kodi's libraries (music, video etc.) are stored in a userdata area as SQL database files. Artwork is cached. In other words Kodi creates files that it uses but does not change any media files that it plays.
