New kodi user here.

Here's my problem.

After adding media from external source, kodi then scans for meta data. I can see the posters and all. Playing it first time is ok but when I turn off my device and on it again, then I start kodi and play the movie from the library it won't play. It shows



But when I go to files and go to where my media is located, it's there and I can play it.

Anything I'm missing

Is the HDD of the external source spinning down?

Sorry. But I don't understand.

What is the external source where the file is located? Are there any power saving settings on that device.

Udisk01 and udisk02. I can't find the name of my external storage. I always find it in root then storage then udisk01. Then my files are there.

debug log (wiki)? I think your box's firmware renames the path of the USB drive sometimes. How many drives do you have connected?
