Hi All.
I've been playing with Kodi Jarvis on android lately, and tried to set up profiles.
Never used profiles earlier, but I realised that if I install an addon on the master profile, it's still installed on the other profiles, and vice versa.
is this how it's meant to work? shouldn't they be separate completely like OS users?

I'd like to configure completely separate addons for different users...

That's not currently possible in Kodi.

The add-on settings are per-profile in the profile's addon_data folder, but I don't think there is a way to lock out an add-on from a profile.

Really? Strange as addon database is stored per profile and that never changed

Yeah, it had to be a bug that was fixed along with something else. There were a few weird profile bugs (master profile overwriting things, etc) that were fixed in v15 and v16, IIRC, and that probably did it.
