From README:

This service provides switchtimer aka reminder as a service for several skins.

No more forgotten football matches or formula one races! Avoid discussion with your better half and let kodi switch to the channels you want! Or let they switch to their favorite shows at a given time! No matter where you are inside Kodi - if you listen music, watch a video or some pictures - KN switchtimer take you to the broadcast at the given time.

This service adds items to the context menu of the pvr osd guide window (PVROSDGuide) automatically (add switchtimer, delete all switchtimer). If you are a skinner and want or need to call this service inside of another window, see README. There are some special hints.

Here is another PVR-reminder:

https://github.com/ASHJG/PVRreminder/tre...vrreminder
It adds the buttons automatically to the context menu. Maybe you can have a look.

I tried to test your addon, but I can't get the button to work. Please auto-add the button to add the timer like the other plugin
Another advance of this is: The button doesn't get deleted, when the skinxmls are updated.
Thx
Yes, the other addon use the (really new for me) extension point 'kodi.context.item'. I'll implement that.
Done. New version is now 1.2.0. 1st post & download updated.
Good work sir, I've pointed my thread over to yours...
Thank you. But don't forget that you suggest me to develop this addon. I'm shure we collaborate even if we have different points of view to the same thing.

Best regards
Very happy to collaborate, I've forked your git, when I eventually get some time I'll have a look.... What's your end game with this ? What do you have in mind in terms of development path?
Hello

Just tried installing this but it said 'Dependencies not met'. Would that be because I'm still using Kodi 14.2?

Thanks

PS. I used the download zip from post 1.
Great development, guys!
I have installed _BJ1's version and it adds a most anticipated feature to pvr.
Works quite nicely at this point, I really like the fact that it works no matter what screen you are in.

So props to you guys and thanks for both you efforts!

Ps: small note, the 'reset all switchtimer' needs an extra 's' at the end :-)

I recommend you upgrade to 15.2 to be on the latest stable.
Not that big of a leap and has some cool added features
I added a PR on github. This adds
- a switch where the user can select, if he wants to us the notiy-OSD or the (new) Countdown-timer.
- some comments and questions in the code Wink
- more timer entries (20 sec | 30 sec)

I hope you like it
Just popping in to say this feature has helped me out a lot already. Ofcourse, it would be even better with Solo's PR commited :-)
Was on vacation and turned back yesterday. Be patient Wink .
V1.2.1 is available. Download see first post.

From changelog:

1.2.1
- merge from pull request of W. Heisenberg:
- Countdown dialog added
- Notification or countdown dialog selectable
Thanks a lot.
I am patient, i just have a lousy sense of humor ;-)
