Hi all,
I'm trying to see some streams in a playlist but they randomly terminate due to an "eof" like in:

00:09:42 T:2822765376 NOTICE: CDVDPlayer::OnExit()
00:09:42 T:2822765376 NOTICE: DVDPlayer: eof, waiting for queues to empty

in VLC I can use the "--repeat repeats current item until another item is forced" function, in this way after the "eof" the stream is promptly restarted and I can see the streams with some hiccups,in Kodi after the "eof" you go back to the channel list and you have to reclick on the channel manually .
Is it possible to configure Kodi to work in the same way of vlc?
I don't think it's possible, you should try to use a more reliable stream.
Thanks negge, I think you are correct. I've made some other searches and had a broad look on the source so I've made it a feature request in the proper subforum. If you think that could be an useful feature for problematic streams please rate it high in the "Feature Request" sub forum, the thread has the same name as this. Thanks
Hi galarosa,

I've this problem too and I find it very annoying. Can you please point me to the add-on source code?

thanks
Hi tano,
I'm not one of the developers and I've looked at the code for the first time but from what I've seen the relevant part should be in:
more in the former than in the latter IMHO.
Also have this problem. Is there any solution till now? Thanks.

@galarosa Can you please write down the url of the thread, I didn't find it in https://forum.kodi.tv/forumdisplay.php?fid=9.
This thread is over 3 years old when you replied to it!
I'm a gravedigger, deal with it Smile

Because the problem is old doesn't mean it is solved and needs to be forgotten.
Btw I made a replied on another related thread : https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=329692
