I have Windows 8.1 with Kodi 15.2. I have installed the latest ServerWMC preview build, but have had the same problem with the stable build. Basically, I have two channels in my cable (ch1022 and ch1059) that both play normally with WMC, but do not play correctly in Kodi with ServerWMC and the PVR.

Both channels typically show a grey or frozen picture, the buffering dialog goes on\off, and nothing plays (video or sound).

I have uploaded two zip files (ServerWMC_ch1022.zip and ServerWMC_ch1059.zip) to the below location. The zip files contain the ServerWMC log and a sample .wtv file.

Hoping you can help me the root of the problem, and maybe a config setting that will help.

Have you tried playing anything you record of these channels in Kodi?

Yes. I had actually expected that the recordings would be good. But, when played within Kodi, they show the same video as what I uploaded. However, when I view these channels live in Windows Media Center, they play normally.

One other thing worth mentioning. I know for a fact that channel 1059 was displaying and recording normally in Kodi up until this past November or December. I have a recording from last March from this channel that is good. I think around January that channel changed its network name from ABC Family Channel to Free Network (or something like that). Not sure if that could have anything to do with it, but figured it's worth mentioning.

Sound and looks like DRM, in addition the logs say the channels are flagged Copy-Once. And the fact that wmc can play the recordings and kodi can't is more proof. Looks like they added DRM recently based on your last post.
