I've been having some issues with Ember. Lately, the one I've noticed is that if I scrape a TV show for the first time that is listed on imdb as a TV Mini-Series, then it won't pull it up. If I put in the imdb code manually, then it gives me a Verification Failed message that "Unable to retrieve movie details for the entered IMDB ID. Please check your entry and try again". Even though it's a TV mini-series instead of a movie. For one I was able to use the tvdb id to scrape it, but it doesn't seem to work in another case.

I also have an issue where some of the imdb information (most notably the rating) is not being scraped or something. I have to go through everything and double-check and re-scrape the nfo file.

I think I have the latest alpha from December.
Latest git isn't scraping for art besides poster and fanart.
It fixed itself after saving the settings a few times.

New bug? Settings not actually saved after saving?

True Big Grin I'll add that also in next release.

Any news about that ? The last version available seems to be Ember Media Manager BETA 1.4.90-alpha.git.99933648

Any solution to import user rating in NFO from Kodi or Trakt is welcome because I keep loosing this field when syncing a movie in ember that already exists in kodi DB.
After putting in a tvdb personal api key, when trying to get Ember to add "episodeguide URL" to a tvshow.nfo file, I always get a 404 error. Any idea what the issue is?

Specifically, "the remote server returned an error: (404) Not found"

Ember still works with the old TVDb API. I think you've an key for the new API that's not yet supported.
@DanCooper

Are you aware of changes at TVDB from 15 July? New v3 API followed by v4 API a few months later.

https://beta.thetvdb.com/blog/something_new

The endpoints are...
V1: https://beta.thetvdb.com/api
V2: https://api.beta.thetvdb.com

The new frontend is located at https://beta.thetvdb.com.

Oh, I see. Do you know how to get an old API key?
Good day,
I presume this project is dead. We haven't had an update for almost a year.
Any news?

I know, too long but still not dead. You can see the progress in the "code cleanup" branch: https://github.com/DanCooper/Ember-MM-Ne...de_cleanup
That is fantastic news Rofl  I personally believe this is the best media manager out there.
Any idea when the new version will be available?

No. I'm trying to invest more time than in the last few months, but I can not say a date.
Thanks very much Rofl

I am VERY grateful for the time you have invested to keep this up and running properly.  I dont think Thank You is even enough to say.

However......
Is there any reason when TRYING to find the latest version, that the links throughout the thread go no where, the links in the first post have not been updated in 3 years, and the link to the latest version in your signature, links to that 3 year old post.  It always seems like far more of a chore to find the latest version.....

The latest official beta is years old, that's correct. But there is a link to the "daily builds" thread and on this thread there is a link to the Google drive page of Komplex with the latest build from 2018-12-09.
