is there a reason why by default there are no Networkpaths available via "Skin.SetFile()"?

I can hack around it by using "Skin.SetFile(,,smb://)", which offers me access to Networkpaths, but this isnt a verry nice solution from a user perspective. imho.

is there may a "root"-path which contains networkpaths which does work on all Platforms?

i can access SMB and NFS Paths via "add source" if this answers your question.

I think Hitcher means to add the source with File Manager.
