Howdy -- I could really use an assist on what seems to be a common setup with popular equipment.
Please allow me to preface this by saying that I've reviewed the Kodi wiki on audio settings, and myriad posts regarding settings that should work... but haven't had much luck.
Setup:
Fire TV -> switch -> sound bar -> projector
This particular sound bar will briefly illuminate a DTS or Dolby Digital icon with an LED when an audio source is providing that format.
What should be a simple setup of passthrough + checkboxing the AC3 & DTS capable receiver settings is actually creating missing channels for me on output.
I'm testing using a short Dolby Digital channel check video. Also having the same results for a DTS equivalent.
I've attempted to remove the switch from the flow and swap the cable but neither had any impact on the problem.
Any suggestions? I could certainly use some brainpower on this.

- VIZIO S5451w-C2 5.1 sound bar
- Kinivo 501BN HDMI switch
