Full Version: Set custom scaling type based on resolution

Ordinarily I use 'Normal' viewmode/scaling. If a video resolution is lower than the display resolution (1920x1080 in my case), it is scaled appropriately to fit height or width without changing aspect ratio. This is exactly what I want for most videos.

However a reasonable percentage of my movies are resolution 1916 x height. Close to full HD but not exactly 1920 wide, 4 pixels short.

For these videos I would prefer to use 'Original Size' scaling. For picture quality reasons it is better not to put them through an unnecessary scaling iteration for the sake of such a tiny resolution difference. It is better to display them 1:1 - the 2 pixels width of padding either side will be totally unnoticeable.

I can do this manually of course, just by checking the resolution of each video and changing accordingly. But it must be done on a per video basis.

So my feature request is to be able to do this via advancedsettings.xml

Thanks
