Please help! I don't know what to do. I attempted to update my Kodi from Helix 14.2 to the new version 16.0. After I completed the download and install I then attempted to run Kodi from the main screen and all I get is a black screen. Now Kodi won't even open.
I'm new to Kodi and Android boxes. Can someone please tell me how I can get back to Helix 14.2 or at the very least get Kodi to even run?

Have you tried clearing the app cache and force stopping?

If that doesn't work then you may need to clear app data but then you will lose all your previous settings etc.

I'd grab something like ES File Explorer and copy your addon and userdata folders over somewhere safe and uninstall Kodi completely. Restart your device and then reinstall clean. If Kodi runs then copy back your addon and userdata folders and you should be back up and running.
