Hello All,
I'm trying to run IPTV Simple Client on Kodi on Ubuntu 16.04, I was able to install the add-on but when I try to enable it, that's ok, but nothing happens, the option in the home screen for TV does not appear and if I exit Kodi or reboot my machine, the add-on is disabled and I receive a warning that the add on must be enabled.
Here is what I have found in the logs...
22:40:09 T:139645538494208 NOTICE: PVRManager - starting up
22:40:09 T:139646513518976 NOTICE: initialize done
22:40:09 T:139646513518976 NOTICE: Running the application...
22:40:09 T:139645521708800 ERROR: ADDON: Could not locate pvr.iptvsimple.so
22:40:09 T:139645521708800 WARNING: UpdateAndInitialiseClients - failed to create add-on PVR IPTV Simple Client, status = 6
22:40:09 T:139645521708800 WARNING: UpdateAndInitialiseClients - failed to load the dll for add-on PVR IPTV Simple Client, disabling it
I had this same problem on my Kodi installed on a raspberry pi, if someone have some idea on how to solve that I appreciate.
Thank you! :-)
