Also checked AZ @ CLE yesterday and got an error accessing 2nd game, first game was no issue, so seems to be some issue with 2 games on same day

I think that was broadcast error as it was english and then changed to spanish for an innings then changed back to english
Okay that sounds logical.
Can you get condensed games to work?

yes condensed game work for me just tried SF@WSH. Are you able to get LAA@NYY G2 yesterday on same day to work or only see highlights for that one?
I'm having two issues with the new MLB addon (thanks)
1. I can't find the hide spoiler option. Maybe I can't remember where it is...
2. When I go to watch an archived game, it takes forever to load and has a time stamp of an hour plus prior to the start time when I choose "start from the beginning". So tonight I opted for start from the top of the 1st inning. It still took a good 5 min to load before starting the game.
Any suggestions??

Under the add on settings, Visual tab, “Hide Scores & Timeline Spoilers”
As for the other issue, on what kind of system are you running Kodi? (Android TV, Windows 11 PC, etc.)? A full Kodi debug log might help too.
(2024-08-08, 09:38)bosustow Wrote: [ -> ]With the NYY v LAA game today it was a double header, the 2nd game only had highlights as an option to select. I checked on MLB app and could access both games that way.
It didn't seem to affect all doubleheaders, but this bug should be fixed in the next release.
I'm running android tv.
Can you please tell me how to do a debug log?

Note that the extra hour-plus when doing "Start from Beginning" is normal, if MLB hasn't trimmed the stream yet. What isn't normal is the ~5 minute wait. Are you using a VPN?
See the log file reference here:

Install the Kodi Logfile Uploader Add-on, then use the "Easy" method to enable debug logging.
It's working perfectly tonight. Thanks for your work. This fan is very happy.
version 2024.8.20 has been released which fixes double header issues.
Thanks to @
tonywagner for submitting the patch.
Latest version is working great overall. This is one of the best Kodi add-ons out there. Couple minor things I've noticed and would be great to have fixed, if possible:
- On the Choose Stream popup, is it possible to sort the TV feeds first? Or at least have them directly under Highlights, if that has to be first? I believe TV feeds were at the top of the list prior to the recent updates for the new API. Would save some clicks, and I assume the majority of people are using the TV streams and not radio.
- Even prior to the recent updates, the Auto-select favorite/home stream setting has never worked reliably for me. It always seems to try the Home stream, and with the single team subscription I get an error (expectedly) when my team is away.
- For most of the first half of the season, the Skip all breaks plus idle time between pitches option was working near flawlessly. Just the occasional miss of a pitch here and there. Sometime before the All Star break, this feature started missing lots of pitches, swings, etc. After the skip, I'll often just see the catcher tossing back to the pitcher, or an outfielder camping under a fly ball, without having seen the actual pitch. Commercial skip has been working excellently the whole time. I have no idea how this magical feature works in the first place, but it would be great to tune it for idle time slips to work consistently again.
As mentioned, I have the single team subscription, in case that affects any of the above. Also, FWIW, I've noticed all of the above on various flavors of Nvidia Shield TV devices as well as on Win7 (yes, really) and Win11 PCs, so I don't think it's platform-specific. I'm running Kodi 20.5, so I hope these aren't Nexus-only problems. I currently can't upgrade to 21.x due to the Win7 box and a shared MySQL database.
Thanks again for a wonderful add-on.

Pitch timestamps can be tricky.
Can you point to a specific pitch from a recent game where this timing is incorrect? Just want to make sure I'm on the same page.
8/21 Orioles at Mets, Away (MASN) feed:
- 17:18 pitch
- 18:06 pickoff attempt
- 18:25 pitch
8/18 Red Sox at Orioles, Home (MASN) feed:
It's difficult to reproduce, as sometimes when going back or exiting and restarting the stream produces different results with the skips. It may also perform differently when watching a finished game vs starting an in-progress game from the beginning. It also seems to go in waves, once it gets out of sync, it stays out of sync for a while. Sometimes skipping forward a lot via the remote will cause the auto-skips to break as well. I realize this is mostly anecdotal, so hard to troubleshoot. I'll try to note hiccups more carefully as I watch upcoming games.
Since the original error in late July I have been unable to consistently access video feeds despite trying the various versions released in the main thread and additional repos.
I had been on an older version of Kodi (18) until updating to 21 in order to utilize one of the temporary developed fixes.
Now I only seem to be able to access the radio feeds and the MLB channel video feeds.

Thanks for your work on this, I far prefer this add-on to any other method of using MLB.
