How to Download and Install Zip Files to Firestick Kodi

Good luck. Smile
when I go to Windows Network (SMB), I am greeted with "Error 2: share not available"

Yeah, I know, helping me is probably getting a little long in the tooth

You sure you shared the drive in windows? Right click and share?

@erack has direct link to the repo zip file in the first post of this thread. Use that one.
I was able to figure it all out, thank you all for all your help.

My only problem now is the video is very choppy for all the current games playing. Any advice there?

The quality of the picture looks amazing but it's jumpy/and choppy all over the place. I went to ProSport addon and loaded the Bal/Phi game and it is smooth.

Is there a setting or something I can change on the mlb.tv add on to make it not choppy/jumpy?
Game of the Day Royals won't play for me tonight. It works on other devices (android phone, PC) but not on 2 different Kodi on AFTV. Mariners game from 2 days ago will play but not the current live game, which should not be blacked out.

Any ideas? I'm looking at the log file but can't see much. At one point it says failed to open source, another parts says skipping unplayable item. Not sure how to read or make use of the log file.

I'm still confused on how to install it on Android. I downloaded the zip on the first page. It's in my downloads folder. How do I find it from kodi?
@eracknaphobia version 2016.3.24 bugs:

Version 2016.3.24: Any 2015 archived games (e.g 2015-10-04): full game option is not available, only highlights option visible.

Also hitting Cancel before a game starts locks kodi.

Version 2016.3.16 is fine.
I tried to turnoff hardware acceleration but I am still getting a very bad choppy video on all video live and highlights. Any idea what I can do to fix this?

Don't turn off hardware acceleration, leave everything on that page default. When I turned it off everything was stuttering for me.

How exactly did you add the zip on the first page to your nexus player?

Here is how I did it and it works great.

Connected to my nexus player with my PC using the ES File Explorer using the Network/FTP I then created a folder and named it Kodi PC or what ever you want. I copy and pasted the repo zip file in that folder, then I disconnected the ftp. I went on my nexus player loaded up Kodi went to system/settings /add-ons/ install from zip file/external storage/Kodi PC (folder)/selected the "repository.eracnaphobia.zip/ click on OK. The add-on should say enabled or installed down in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Then back out of there till you are at the screen showing install from repository, go in there and select eracnaphobias repo/video add-ons/mlb.tv select and install. It should then show up under video add-ons. Configure and play.

One other thing which version of Kodi are you using, I'm on Jarvis 16.

Here is another must have add-on for a nexus player, it allows you to use the play/pause button on the right side of your controller like the right click of a mouse allowing you to access the configure menu etc. It still works as play/pause while watching videos. Its called Taffymc.

I did everything the above post described but the only difference is I'm on a firestick and not a nexus player. The picture quality is amazing but I'm having no luck on getting rid of the constant jumping.

Sorry Sad I thought you were using a nexus player.

Maybe the fire stick doesn't have enough horsepower?
Was working earlier in the week, but now im getting "playback failed". Audio streams play fine. Any one have a fix? Im on osmc on a raspberry pi 2.

Try choosing a lower bitrate in the add-on settings.
