Yes. See answer 1.A.1.4 in the MLB FAQ

http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/help/faq_blackout.jsp

Another way around if that availability isn't directly available but the ended time is available is to indicate minutes from that game ended time in the listing. Won't guarantee availability but at least will show how long to wait at the minimum.

I want a smaller stream for the background at work so I don't use so much bandwidth. Has anyone gotten a smaller stream to work?

Do you know if it's possible to support jumping to a certain inning in a live game? mlbviewer and the old mlbmc-hls plugin supported this.

Appears to be bug in the code. The entire day recap /condensed obeys the quality selection but it appears the single games do not.

Nice, what the hell is the NHL's problem!? Huh

Yeah I am seeing this same behavior. I would like to select lower bitrate (which I have done in the config) to help with buffering, but no matter what I select I still get 720p/60fps.
Trying to download the zip file on to my Fire Stick, and I'm getting a failed to download message from ES explorer. Anyone know why this would be? I've tripled checked that the path is right and I've tried clicking the link from the forum post.
(2016-04-08, 21:20)tonywagner Wrote: [ -> ]Also, if anyone wants Kodi to start on the "Today's Games" list in this add-on, you can use another add-on called Super Favorites from the default Kodi repo.

- Install Super Favorites, then add a Super Favorite for the "Today's Games" item.
- Then go to the Super Favorites add-on, find that entry and "Add to Kodi Favorites" in its context menu.
- Now if you pull your standard favorites.xml file, you will see your entry as a big long "PlayMedia" command
- Decode the whole "PlayMedia" command here in this HTML entity decoder (to properly display the double quotes and ampersands):
https://mothereff.in/html-entities
- Finally, copy that into an autoexec.py file as follows (with the "..." obviously replaced with the decoded PlayMedia command you found above):
Code:
import xbmc
xbmc.executebuiltin('XBMC.PlayMedia(...)')
I dont know if this is exacyly what you mean, but i / cam show Todays Games in a widget ising the Titan skin. In fact, you can use any addon.
Has anyone gotten live games or full game replays to work on the new SINGLE TEAM subscription plan? After I select the home or away feed, no video starts. I'm just returned to the day's list of games. I will post my debug log when I get home later today.

Same here. I can get highlights from previous games to play 720p60...and they look great.

Is this something with our subscription type or maybe the add-on can be tweaked?

The same thing happens in the old mlbmc add-on too.
Same to me. As a Single Team Subscriber I can't watch any Games of my selected Team. Also in old mlbmc.

Cheers

I know you said you can't get either feed to work but I'm pretty sure that only the new "single team's" broadcast feed is supposed to be available not both feeds. Read something about that over on the mlb.tv support thread.

Right, I was just confirming that I tried both feeds, just to be sure neither was working. At least one of the feeds should work. Seems like this is a problem for more than just me.

@Punni, @MikeTyson8MyKids, can you post your debug logs? I'll do the same when I'm back in front of my Kodi machine.
Thanks so much for the updates! This is working 100% perfect for me

Here's my log: http://pastebin.com/raw/zuYR0wgz
Installed and configured, verified non-plugin mlb.tv playback in-browser. UI loads in Kodi, game list displays and updates.

clicking on or select-entering a game either produces no visible response in UI or the stream select dialog. selecting a stream produces either a 'failed to play, check log' dialog or no result.

(UPDATE: Dialed bit rate back to lowest HD setting. Selecting a day's highlights works correctly and plays successfully. Selecting archived past games provide the archival dialog. Selecting Condensed or Highlights works successfully. Selecting Complete Game fails just as prior attempts to play live games did.)

kodi was installed next to XBMC and found and ported prefs. I disabled and removed mlbmc within Kodi.

Hi!
As my Boxee Box doesn't run with Kodi younger than 14.2 I have to stick with MLBMC as my favourite mlb addon...
But I need help and the older thread was closed (http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=104391)...
Might I get some help here?
