My eyeballs are bleeding! lol
guys I read and re read this thread, didn't see it but maybe I missed it, Is this only for a android box? Because this does not work with either my ChromeBox or my FireTV Box.
After reading my post I noticed I didn't give enough info. This will install fully, will allow me to enter my full MLB subscription info. on Live game will somewhat play but Freeze and buffer, then stop, on games already archived whether the game ended 4hrs ago or yesterday it will do nothing. besides the steps to select which broadcast I prefer, it will look like it is about to play without the actual play icon lower left hand corner showing up and then nothing.
Also wanted to note: MLBMC was working for the spring games I was watching up until the last few games of the spring season.
Code:

Hope that log will help, Yes everything, every single other app has been working flawlessly, only this new one is puzzling.
Just wanted to add another user who is having problems with the single team subscription. I'm using a VPN and I was assuming that that was the problem, but perhaps it's not? Mine is behaving exactly as 3chainz described.
Silly me, my Fire TV Box is an android system box, lol
Just installed on my PC and this works very nice, will delete my chrome box and just install this app in a bit too see if this works.

OK what I did to further test, I did a reset to my chrome box (factory restore, fresh start) and only installed this repo, nothing, so I installed MLBC and a few items were automatic enabled, still nothing, rebooted the chrome box and it started playing yesterdays game. Scratching my head here.
Watching yesterday's game, audio is working great, video keeps FF as if trying to catch up with audio?

Ok, watched recap and condensed and both video and audio worked great, next hard reset and reapplied my setting and reinstalled...seems to be working fine, audio and video in sync.

Fantastic Add-On, I have been having nothing but issues with MLBMC and this scratches me right where I itch!
One small request if you can look into it. Is is possible to have an option to start a game at the beginning or choose the live feed? Would take this addon to next level awesome...
It would also be great, if and when you migrate the Favorite Teams feature from NHL.TV (my vote would be a hell yeah), to add the Audio Feed options to this as well.
Not sure if that helps with the Audio Feed, but there exists an addon to change audio languages (called Language Preferencer) here:

Kodi also has a hotkey you can configure to switch to the next language in keyboard.xml as <AudioNextLanguage>. Still would be nice to have these on game select if possible.

I did some searching and this does appear to be an ffmpeg bottleneck. Closest I could find some documentation was a support ticket for ffmpeg to implement adaptive bitrate decoding https://trac.ffmpeg.org/ticket/2886 (domain is down at the moment)
Another big one would be to be able to tell ffmpeg where to start a live stream (Play from beginning). Currently a live stream is started 3 segments back from the current segment, which might also explain why kodi is 20-30 seconds behind the web version. I believe ffmpeg allows you to set the desired segment to start at but with kodi there really isn't a way to "talk" directly to ffmpeg and there isn't a way for the addon to tell kodi to tell ffmpeg to start at a specific segment. This might have been over looked as most of the time, in the non-sports world, starting a truly live stream some time in the past wouldn't make much since, like a news channel that runs 24 /7. I don't know just my two cents, I hope that this can be added to the core player someday though.
Finally that explains that 20-30 second delay ! Hopefully the core devs implement this.

I found some other associated links as well, although I don't yet fully understand the use cases

I have a MxQ Android box and I installed the MLB addon, but when I click on full games it says check log file. However, condensed games works. I gave the link to my log file. I would appreciate any help because the mlb at bat sucks. Thanks!

Great stuff! Thanks for gathering the info, it looks very promising.
(2016-04-08, 22:24)eracknaphobia Wrote: [ -> ]Appears to be bug in the code. The entire day recap /condensed obeys the quality selection but it appears the single games do not.
To clarify: do you mean a bug in your code--i.e. something we can hope to see fixed in the near future--or an upstream bug?
As somebody whose connection doesn't seem to be solid enough to handle the highest quality reliably, I'd really, really, like to be able to select a lower quality.

Have those of you with the single team subscription tried going into add on settings and using the log out function? I had what sounds like the same issue as yours originally and this solved the problem, though I'm on a full subscription.
