Generally, this addon will give you the same blackouts as the MLB.TV website running on the same device.
UPdate, yes i'm still location locked out of the yankee game, if anyone knows how to change that i'd love to know..

Kodi 17 Alpha seems to have broken mlb.tv.

Seems to be something related to HTTP/FFMPEG (as seen in logs)? Related to the temporarily disabled DVD player (in the current build)?

Libreelec / Kodi 16.1 works fine with the plugin

This works for some geo-blocked content (I think ESPN3 which is available without authentication if you spoof a particular university IP) but I am pretty sure it doesn't work for MLB.TV. X-Forwarded-For is both an easy header to spoof, and an easy spoof to detect if so desired.

forgive me for the ignorance but how do i add this to kodi? or do i just run it in y computer?
I am getting "failed to play" errors on Kodi 14.2 with MLB.TV 2016.4.29.1 and 2016.4.19 when trying to playback previous days games. Recaps and Condensed seem to work haven't tried live games yet, I have tried logging out.

Thanks for checking!

'View All' recaps stopped working for me. I can play each individually. I'm using the latest stable release of Kodi and version 2016.4.29.1 of the MLB.tv add-on.
The free game is still broken i see. I hate using the actual mlb.tv app on my nvidia shield but I have to everytime the Red Sox are on the free game because of the bug.
Love this addon!! But don't know the game in GREEN always errors out? It works on the mlb on my chrome, only does this with your Kodi AddonHuh Thx
Just noticed the park location splash rotations under the game select dialog. Nice touch!

Some bitrates are still working. You can select 1800 or Best available if you have the bandwidth.

Play All still has a bug of skipping the first one in the list (index error) which hopefully @eracknaphobia will be fixing in next version.

This does not seem to be working for Play All recaps for a particular day, no matter what bitrate you set in the settings. It just goes back to the schedule without playing anything. Been happening this way since the last update.

You are referring to Play All highlights for a particular game, which has the index bug.

Going back to version 2016.4.19, 'view all' now works again.
