I believe MLBViewer can jump to inning markers, and the old MLBMC+HLS could. Both are Python also, so perhaps some code could be borrowed.
Still having an issue with Kodi 17.
Debug log with lots of info turned on...
http://xbmclogs.com/p8hdfgdox
Seems to give a 400 bad request when requesting the key from 'mlb-ws-mf.media.mlb.com'
I can ping mlb-ws-mf.media.mlb.com from my kodi box so it's not a host issue. I've tried directly accessing the url (I printed the url tot he debug logs) and I get a successful JSON response from MLB (and I see the next line in the log is a SUCESS message).
erack ist still missing.
mlb.tv is buffering here very offten. I ve use mostly appleTV4.
I gave up on this addon. Stream dies often and it's not usable.
Got a Nvidia sheild Tuesday. The stock MLB app work perfet! Not one hiccup yet.
Put SPMC on it and get HD audio, Atmos, DTS:X, 4K, and framerate switching!
It's not this addon. Apple is buffering also but can slow down the Bitrate + framerate switching and has a bigger cache.
THe old mlh-hls addon use the external cache like the youtube addon and so it was stable.
nhl, nba and nfl streams work, only mlb is struggeling. Sometimes only 2 Mbits over 1 minute and then full Speed 25 Mbits, then 15 Seconds 500 kbit.
Apple TV fills then the cache, but kodi without external chace has only the small ffmpeg cache. In 4,5Mbits@720p60 only 7-10 seconds. Thats the problem.
With the old addon i use a 128Mb external RAM Cache. But here also a few times it's empty.
Hey guys....just wanted to post a new issue. So trying to stream the Dodgers and Mets game tonight. When click on the game instead of the menu coming up to allow me to pick a feed I get and immediate error. I think this might have to do with a new type of streaming that MLB is pushing for this game. There is a new feed called MLB Plus. I can click on any other game and it works fine.
Can anyone else confirm this issue?

Yeah the MLB Plus games have been unplayable with the latest version of the MLB.tv add-on . There was also an issue with playing the recap videos. Going back to version 2016.4.19 seems to have resolved those issues.
Is there a way to download this add-on on my computer? I know how to move things with ES File Explorer. I don't know how to use commands or learn how on a firestick I know someone that wants to subscribe but I don't know how to get this this for him

Download and install the latest stable version of Kodi. Download the MLB.tv add-on. Some features have been added since, but I think version 2016.4.19 works best.
Download it at this link.
https://github.com/eracknaphobia/repo.er...p?raw=true
If you want to try the latest version, go to the first page of this topic and click on the 'My repo' link.
Open Kodi and navigate to system>settings>add-ons>install from zip file ..Your hard drives will be shown, allowing you to select the zip file containing the MLB.tv add-on.
Then in Kodi, go to videos>add-ons .. You should see the MLB.tv add-on listed. Right-click and select add-on information>configure. Enter the user name and password if you have a paid MLB.tv subscription. If not, select select free game subscription, as MLB.tv shows a free game every day. This same selection also applies to the single team paid subscription.
Still under settings, select visual, where you'll see stream quality and other options to choose from.
Looking at the add-on information window again, you'll want to make sure auto-update isn't selected if using version 2016.4.19 of the add-on.
has eracknaphobia abandoned this?
Sent from my Nexus 6
He is missing the wohle may. I hop he is not ill or something.
I've got v2016.4.19 running on various devices, but it's not working on one of my PCs:
1) Macbook OSX 10.11.3 - working fine
2) PC laptop - Windows 7 - working fine
3) PC - Windows 10 - not working.
Any ideas?
Works initially but it always stops buffering about 1/5 of the way then buffers extremely slow thereafter thus causing the playback to freeze, skip, and cause playback issues. I've used all the different video settings and all has the same issue. Anyone else having this problem? Is there a fix?
Kodi 16.1
Windows 7
MLB 2016.4.29.1
FYI, all other video add-ons are fine.
I've also tried the 'no buffering' hack but had no luck.
-------------
UPDATE:
I installed the add-on on my Android device and it works fine and with very smooth playback. Seems this is an issue with my PC and not the add-on.

Install the 4.29.1 version from the repo. This fixed this for me. However, now I have buffering issues (see my post).
Same freezing / buffering issue for me, I am on Raspberry Pi OpenELEC 7.0 Beta 3
