I should be able to keep a 16.x version going on my repo. Remind me if i forget. The latest update didn't involve any changes you would notice on the front end, more behind the scenes layout changes and library version updates in order to make it into the kodi repo.

Congrats!
Is there a public upstream where we can contribute to future versions? I'd be happy to submit a pull request based on my post above, for instance.
Github is fine. I'll take a look at the pull request you've already made. Just haven't got a chance to look at it yet.

EDIT: Looks like it's already listed
Thanks, I am having issues with getting the addon to work on a firestick on Kodi 17. I thought it might be the plug-in so when I saw this post I deleted and reinstalled from the Kodi Repo and still not working. The addon loads, allows me to configure with username/password, options, etc however after opening the addon and choosing either today's games, or yesterday's games it will force close kodi? Do you know of any issues running the addon with either the firestick or kodi 17? Works great on the PC
If you could submit a log file we could probably figure out whats happening. Follow the instructions found here : http://kodi.wiki/view/Log_file/Easy
If it was on the PC I could but since it's happening with Kodi on the Firestick I have no idea how to do this. Any type of navigation, copying/pasting on a firestick is really hard. Not even sure how to do it but I see some others are having the same issues with Kodi 17 and Android

From Instructions Page:
1 Download the Debug log uploader add-on:
Inside of Kodi go into Programs → Get more... → Kodi Logfile Uploader and click on "Install"
All you need is this addon and an email address and you can send log files to yourself via email
i have a log file for you, where do you want me to send it?
Preferably post a link to the file here on the forum.
Again, all this information is in the log file easy instructions.

I don't see any errors coming from my addon in this log
If it's crashing you'll need to go into the Kodi Log Uploader settings and enable the "Post the old logfile, from the last time kodi ran" setting
Then run the mlb.tv addon, let kodi crash, and then run the log up loader addon once you restart kodi

Ok, thanks for the logs. I can confirm there is definitely an issue. I will be looking into a fix and will update everyone once I track down the culprit.

If you're talking about archived games, maybe. I would imagine with the right information it may be possibly to set bookmarks to the top or bottom of a given inning.
mlbviewer can jump to innings. It has adaptive bitrates, too. It's also Python, so I think there's some potential for code sharing, or at least borrowing.

how to add this to amazon fire box? Should I be downloading everything to computer and then transferring to amazon fire box? Running Krypton 17.0 with No Limit

In kodi goto addons > install from repository > Kodi repository > Video > MLB.tv
