I updated the python from 2.25 to 2.1.0 and SPMC v16.6 seems to be running fine or should I have used 2.24 instead?

First off, thanks for all your hard work on the add on eracknophobia. For me archived games seem fine but live games yield 'one or more items failed to play' Not super technical sorry but if you want the log output I can try and find it. Kodi 17 Ubuntu 16.04 brand new install.

 Try 2.1.0 that's working for me.

Python version?

I just changed the text 2.2.5 to 2.1.0 in the addon.xml.  I used 7zip to do it because with 7zip you can edit the addon.xml without unzipping the folder, makes it simpler.

I got the same Error with Version 2.1.

I've updated the beta. Highlights should be mostly working now.

I don't want to bother eracknaphobia so will ask others how the latest beta version is working with live games. I'm not currently subscribed to MLB.tv.

 For me archive games work fine.  Live games load up fine and play well until the first commercial, the commercial plays with out sound and choppy video, when the game comes back the game has no sound and choppy video.  If I reload things are fine again, until the next commercial.

would you happen to know why when I go to 2018 ST games, it just says highlights, there is no full game available on any game? And when I select highlights, I get an error message.

2017 and 2016 games work just fine.

For me, highlights play fine, but archived and live games give an error... 'MLB.tv error. Check the log for more information.'
I'm on Windows 8.1 with the latest stable version of Kodi and beta add-on.

I'm having similar results as architeuthis.  In my case, this is whether I use LibreElec or Kodi for Android.  The beta version worked for a couple of days, then I started getting the error when I selected a game.

Yesterday, after I got the error, I tried viewing a game through MLB's website, and got an overlay message saying they couldn't renew my MLB.TV subscription.  I gave them a different credit card, but I'm still getting the message.

Anyway, if you're getting that "MLB.tv error" message in Kodi, try viewing a game through the MLB website and see if you get a warning about your subscription as well.  If you do, it may be that eracknaphobia needs to polish the addon's error handling.

The latest version is now in my repo (see first post). Not much updating code wise, I just wanted to improve the way you get the latest changes with the least amount of hassle. I will be pushing all the changes there until the addon is full feature and bug free.

I'm able to watch a game now, and am grateful for that. It looks great..but the commercials. Each break between innings has the same commercial fragments repeated a few times. Is it possible this can be eliminated?  I understand this is an MLB.tv issue and not one created by the add-on.

 Wait, which version is in the latest repo? Did you updated the release with the Beta info, or did you put the Beta in your Repo?

Also, If I installed the Beta from Github (which I did), and you added it to your repo (did you?), would it auto-update the Beta?
