Which version of Kodi are you using? If it's Krypton then uninstall your old non working mlb.tv and d/l the one on the first page where it says "beta version can be found here".

He is trying to watch the Mets-Marlins gave of Sunday Mar 25. I get a similar error when I try to access this game (using Kodi 17.6 and 2018.3.4). The error occurs for games on Mar 24 as well.
For todays games of Mar 26, I am not even presented with a list of games so no games are viewable. MLB.TV has indicated that the games
of Mar 26 and Mar 27 are free to all. A possible explanation of why they are not available to Kodi, is that the free streams are different from the
the normal encrypted stream. And Kodi was not programmed for this condition. The free stream requires no login procedurre.
The games today are viewable thru a browser with no login required.

Nah, things are always wonky during Spring Training and for the first few days of the season. Once things settle down, eracknaphobia should be able to update his code and we'll be good.
At least until the All-Star Break, when things will probably hiccup again.

It was my local team's game. The other game I tried was ok.
I'm not blocked yet either.
I couldn't watch any games yesterday, error on all.
how do i install the beta? i'm sure i am missing something obvious, but i can't get it to install after i zip it...
Tried uninstalling then reinstalling the beta ... still no go. Though I actually got a highlight to play.
It does show the game feeds .. but they all error out trying to play them.

Last year in their support forum they would quickly delete any references that customers made to Kodi and then during the off-season they change the API so as to break the Kodi add on. On the bright side though, the video quality in their AtBat Android app seems to be much better than last year. Previously it seemed to have a real problem when used on low-spec Android boxes.

Now they have just deleted the whole forum! (Actually ALL of their forums) The web player seems to work better than ever before too. I e-mailed them about Audio Overlay they said, it's not available for ST games. I then asked if it would be available for regular season games, they told me I would have to check after opening day!
Chrome was crashing in ST games occasionally every game except for that last Yankee game. Hopefully the fixed something. Edge and IE didn't crash.
But now you get 60FS and stereo in browsers which is great!

Atmos system is turn the dialog level adjust to -11dB and crank the master volume. Sounds like your in a stadium.

Is it definitely 60fps in browser? I started using Slimjet after you mentioned it. Looks better than 30fps from previous years but Kodi noticeably improves on it. In browser, there's less clarity and some herky-jerkiness.
It is 60. But seems the when watching in a browser, background tasks or things can cause judder. And it probably is clearer and smoother in Kodi.
I have 3 27inch monitors mounted vertically next to a 65inch 4KTV. I usually watch games on a 27. But when I want to watch on the 65 I use a Nvidia Sheild. It is slightly clearer I think. And 100 percent smooth.
