I was using both mlb app and mlb.tv kodi yesterday and found a lot less buffering with the addon. Also I couldn't get the boxscore to fill with info on the app, did you try that at all?

MLB.tv on laptop works fine although skipping to an inning isn't really accurate anymore. And I get more commercials, which sometimes run into the inning.
At bat is simple and fine, no stutter. I use at bat on android TV.
MLB.tv on kodi works fine, but very limited functionality

Is anyone else having a problem changing the resolution 'quality' settings ( SD 1200 , SD 800 ) settings ... no matter what I try , the stream always plays as 1280x720 ~ 4Mb/s?
I can pull-down low-def streams just fine from MLB.com and also the python player 'mlbplay'.
How is anyone getting this to work? Can someone help those of us who are having issues?
Addon works for me but when it gets to a commercial it goes into an infinite loop. Tried both official and beta versions.

Same problem here. Commercials are causing an infinite loop.
OK I let it run through the commercial and even though it keeps relooping it does eventually get back to the game when it's supposed to.
Love this app. Keep it going.
Works the best for me, smoothest stream ever espically on SPMC.
I'm getting errors starting playback, sometimes have to try 4 or 5 times but always eventually works.
Got the commercial loop bug too.
Audio has dropped a couple times but works again with stream restart.

The addon is only working for me for archived games, on live games I get a message to the effect of "one or more items failed to play". I have the same problem on multiple devices, both on Android and Windows.
Not surprising there was no buffering yesterday with likely less traffic than usual because of the holiday.

I have found the best way with the beta addon is to leave the addon settings at "best available" and then adjust the "Internet bandwidth limitation" under system settings. I have mine at 2560 and that gets me 29.5 fps. My video is better with the web player, but I still use Kodi for Audio Overlay, and that only works with the archives.
can anyone help those of us who are getting the error creating demuxer? this is so incredibly frustrating, last year it just worked...this year i can't get anything to load. i'd really rather watch via the addon because i prefer to lock into 60fps, but nobody seems to have any idea how to fix this issue and erack is MIA...

This functionality hasn't been updated yet. I will be working on this soon.
