Not sure why its working for kryton it was supposed to fix spmc / jarvis.
me either, but you are my hero for making it work. i'm sick of the fire stick mlb app with the "the mlb.tv app is currently unavailable" every time i try to load a game...and their twitter support is useless. i'm not the only one that has posted about it, but all they ever ask is for you to DM with user credentials (which have absolutely nothing to do with it since eventually the problem goes away).
changing the python version to 2.1 also has fixed the demuxer error on my macbook pro (again latest version of kodi).
last step is to see if it works (hopefully) on my fire stick.
If it doesn't work on Fire stick try using spmc, I find it better than kodi, loads the games up instantly.
trying that now, it definitely did not work using kodi on fire stick.
Your edited version (with changed python version) does indeed work on the fire stick using spmc. Outstanding.
i take that back...changing the python version hasn't completely fixed the issue on krypton. just tried to load another game on my phone and it took two tries...the first try failed.
so, it is better...but not foolproof. it definitely does seem to work every time in SPMC though (both phone and fire stick), so i guess i'll stick with that until someone can figure out what is causing the demuxer error in kodi.
Was working fine a few days ago but now nothing will start.

- Switch stream type to avoid annoying commercial loop.
The new version doesn't seem to support Audio Overlay.
(2018-04-03, 19:58)sask3m Wrote: [ -> ]I have it working on SPMC which is Jarvis, works 100% and better than on Kodi Krypton, which takes forever to load the stream, SPMC loads the stream instantly and no more crappy repeating commercial bug. I would uninstall old version first then install this zip I uploaded, if it doesn't work try deleting the "plugin video mlbtv" folder from the user data/ addon data folder then reinstall over again, and reinput your login data.
I actually had the new 4.2 working on Kodi Kryton on my nvidia shield but my nexus player was giving the demuxer error but this fix works fie on both my shield and nexus player using the latest spmc.

I can't believe it, it seems like that works. I installed SPMC and the version of the add on from your link and I am now watching last night's Red Sox game. So apparently it works for archived games (whereas it didn't work for me on Krypton), the big test will come tonight to see if live games work.
Does anyone have an adblocker that works with this addon?
Adguard is not blocking any ads. I added Kodi to the filter list too. Still get ads using Kodi portable. AG blocks ads in Chrome just fine I think. It might be my Windscribe proxy plugin blocking ads.
Adfreetime does not block anything.
Prob not possible.

What ads are you trying to block?
