I d/l the 3.16 plug-in and dropped in the same folder as the main repo and selected install from zip it says the addon updated and when I check it shows 3.16 but I wasn't seeing the highlights section so I went back and selected upday=te repo and it reverted back to 3.7 so I guess it didn't actually update. How do I update the repo from 3.7 to 3.16 using the plugin?
I got 2016.3.16 working on Kodi 16.0.by copying the 3.16 from Kodi 17. Yankee game works. I don't see highlights either. But the plugin version says 2016.3.16
Might be some comparability with Kodi 17 alpha.
I'm on kodi 16. What I did was drop the plug-in zip into the folder I have the repo in, when I use the install from zip option and select the plug-in it shows it updated but like you say not showing any highlights. I clicked on update to see if that would get it working but all that did was revert it back to 3.7 so I'm not even sure if it did update. Is there a new repo zip file that has the new 3.16 already in it?
PS: This is using a nexus player.
Ok I just checked my PC and the repo did update to 3.16 but I don't see any highlights in there either. Ok what I finally did on this nexus player of mine just to make sure I do indeed have the 3.16 update was to just uninstall everything and re-download the repo from the 1st page link and it does have all the latest mlb plug-in included.
Ok dumb me. Highlights are there when you click on an "archived" game. Thanks a bunch for that.
Highlights are only available for games that have finished. Once you select a game you should see a dialog that lets you choose full game or highlights. Keep in mind it's spring training and not all games have the full game option but most of them should have highlights.
I see the highlight for todays earlier games.
Edit: figured out my problem was with the login cookie. Good idea to include the logout option in the settings. Solved my issue.
Thanks for reviving this project. Go Jays!
Most of these spring training games are using pretty shitty hd cams or maybe they're just glorified sd cams.
I can hardly wait for the season to start.

- Added Logout feature in add-on settings
- Added Highlights (60fps supported)
Amazing job with the Highlights! Thank you so much!
The only improvement I can think of is adding a list so we can select which Highlight to watch, but it's so minor.
This really is fantastic! You rock!
Hi, out of curiosity, does this addon allow you to switch the audio streams from the TV broadcast to the radio broadcast? If it did, that'd be amazing.

Yes! You can select from 4 audio streams by opening the audio settings once you've started the video. So far, it's been hit or miss whether ALL of the streams are available (for example, last night's Jays game only had the tv feed or the Yankees radio feed) but I'm hopeful that this gets itself sorted once spring training is through.
Geez the MLB.tv support forum is a mess. The problems they have been having with the new app update this year is amazing.

I think this is exactly why they include spring training games in the package. It's not just to serve as a "value add" for customers, it's mostly so they can work out kinks before prime time when people will really start to complain if the product is not up to par.
Does mlb.tv do 5.1 audio during the regular season?

I've also found that the radio broadcast streams aren't in sync with the video broadcast. You can manually adjust the delay in Kodi, but it keeps going out of sync. I have noticed that the Audio Overlay support on the website isn't included on any games in preseason, so hopefully this gets sorted out before the regular season starts.
