No. All streams are pure mono. I have been asking for stereo on their forums for 6 or more years. Same canned response. "We will submit your request".
Sucks because I now have Dolby Atmos 7.3.2. Stereo upmixed to Dolby Surround would be a HUGE improvement.
They will never broadcast 5.1

You can manually adjust the delay in Kodi, but it keeps going out of sync. I have noticed that the Audio Overlay support on the website isn't included on any games in preseason, so hopefully this gets sorted out before the regular season starts.
I only tried for about 2 at bats in the jays game, but it was in sync for me (sound of pitch hitting catcher's glove matched what I was seeing). Hopefully all regular season games sync up.

So I would imagine then that it's not possible for this add-on either if 5.1 isn't in the stream to start with?
Would love to see some of the features that mlbmc had in this addon
Requests:
Condensed Games
Top Videos by team
etc
Thanks!

Correct. For what it's worth though, my yamaha receiver does a great job in up-converting. So much so that I don't notice any deficiencies on my 3.1 setup.
Eracknaphobia what is a beer worth where you are from?
I used mlbmc for highlights only and am switching to this. Buffers a bit but will just keep dropping resolution till i find sweet spot. Strange as i am on 100 Mpbs.
Is there a way to get a list of highlights without going game by game? Might be an in season only thing. Do you think you will get tge MustC and Cut4 videos from mlb.com as well?
Love your work so far mate. Thanks !
Here the highlights buffered extremly too. I think the problem ist, that the stream starts (because of the length with only about one 1 minute) too early.
The old mlbmc supports conseded too and apple last year a 3 minute highlight clip. Is there any chance, that we get this with the new plugin too?

Looks like options in settings differ from the available bitrates in master file
Code:
#EXTM3U
#EXT-X-STREAM-INF:PROGRAM-ID=1,BANDWIDTH=800000
800K/800_complete.m3u8
#EXT-X-STREAM-INF:PROGRAM-ID=1,BANDWIDTH=500000
500K/500_complete.m3u8
#EXT-X-STREAM-INF:PROGRAM-ID=1,BANDWIDTH=1200000
1200K/1200_complete.m3u8
#EXT-X-STREAM-INF:PROGRAM-ID=1,BANDWIDTH=1800000
1800K/1800_complete.m3u8
#EXT-X-STREAM-INF:PROGRAM-ID=1,BANDWIDTH=2400000
2400K/2400_complete.m3u8
#EXT-X-STREAM-INF:PROGRAM-ID=1,BANDWIDTH=3000000
3000K/3000_complete.m3u8
#EXT-X-STREAM-INF:PROGRAM-ID=1,BANDWIDTH=4500000
4500K/4500_complete.m3u8
Should be an easy fix but these seem more dynamic and may keep changing down the road. For now I am just selecting "Best Available" but wondering if users could select via popup ala livestream and NBC addons.
I used the option to "always ask" for quality in old add-on. It was great because some days the servers seemed particularly taxed, so I had an easy way to get a lower quality feed and avoid buffering. So if you're able to give that prompt, I'd say go for it. Of course, I'm sure some would prefer option to just take best available.

Yup this is what I was experiencing yesterday(buffering) and I tried the 3500 HD and 2500 HD options, which weren't launching the streams which led me to check the master file. Another option could be to retain the choices as they are but launch the nearest matching bitrate e.g
3500 HD option launches 3000_complete.m3u8
2500 HD option launches 2400_complete.m3u8
etc.
Update 2016.3.24 Released
- Updated stream qualities values to match newer masterfiles
- Added "Always Ask" stream quality selection
I Think it would be better, if the best quality were on top instead on the bottom.
works awesome - tried it for a little while yesterday.
I had turned off hardware acceleration in kodi main settings and forgot to turn it back on.
I apologize if I missed it, but does this add-on require me to log on? I was able to watch highlights no problem, but full games prompted me for credentials.
