Hi

I post here because i don't find solution( i searched in the forum before post)

My computer starts automatically every morning and with a scheduled task, kodi starts with a playlist( i created 10 playlists and one of them starts).
My problem is about these playlists. When i created the playlist (.m3u basic playlist), i selected every artists albums. When a playlist is launched, it's every the same artist in the begining and there is no shuffle music ( shuffle button of course but it's not automatic)

There is a solution to starts automatically a playlist in shuffle mode (directly in windows with kodi is default music software)?

thanks for next answers ans sorry for my english
Party Mode is random by default and you are able to change the rules, see http://kodi.wiki/view/Party_Mode then to auto start it you could try http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=203290
ThankS jjd-uk

I'll try party mode with auto start if i have problem i post next question
hi

i come back because my problem is not resolved

I tried party mode auto start but it's possible to run on kodi start up only one playlist. If i replace the select playlist by my .bat file (this bat select a random playlist in playlists folder) the party mode doesn't starts.

Have you an other idea ?
Maybe I misunderstood you, I thought you wanted a playlist to run on start up to play random music, do you instead want to play playlists you've already created randomly?
Jjd-uk

I created 10 playlists and i use a .bat file to select à random playlist. With default kodi music player is ok. My problem is after this. When a playlist is launched it's the same artist on the beginning. The playlist is not automatically on shuffle mode. (When i created à playlist, i selected all albums of m'y favourite artists)
I'm not sure as I've never scripted with Kodi, but perhaps you could make use of "PlayerControl(random)" see http://kodi.wiki/view/List_of_built-in_functions
Thanks for your help but i never scripting to. I think that i replace my batch file by kodi.exe in my scheduled task and use party mode auto start

Thanks for replies
