While playing a Video in Kodi, when I use the STOP button the video does not stop, Kodi goes back to the Home screen.

I have tried the default setting and also manually mapping (in the Harmony software) the STOP button to the Stop command with MCE Remote and MCE Keyboard

Any help is appreciated!

debug log (wiki)? That wills how us what action Kodi is executing.

Thanks for the reply Ned but I got it working... the key was to remap the Stop Button on the remote to the Device 'Windows PC' (not Microsoft MCE remote or MCE Keyboard). That fixed the problem.

The other mappings (Fire TV 'stop' and MCE 'stop' ) were executing 'Exit', which is exactly what what Kodi as doing... exiting to the main menu, and kept the video playing

Now... what I have not tested is if the new Stop button mapping works properly when playing a video in the AFTV. ;-) Once I test I will report back.
