Hi Forum.
I've just wondering, what is the benefit of the hardware accelerated surface rendereing on Android?
It is enabled by default in 16 and, after upgrading from 15 to 16 on my Nvidia Shield Android M device, I noticed, that GUI rendering is slow if there is a video playing in background.
The playing media is stuttering when there is a GUI overlay. If I disable the hardware accelerated surface rendering, it is much more fluid.
Not really a bug, but I thought "HW accelerated" means, it runs faster with and without. :-)
