I watch almost all movies with subtitles on.
I have a film here where due to an intro or something, the subtitles are out by about 14 seconds or so. Only 2 subtitles are available for it unfortunately, so I can't just grab another.
At around the 12 or 13 second mark setting for subtitle delays the delay SEEMS to simply "cap out" - no matter what I set it to (12/13/14/15) seconds the subtitles seem to still be too fast, by about 2 seconds.
I'm guessing the cap is around 11 to 13 seconds or so.
Can anyone else replicate this? The film in question for testing, for me is, The League of Gentlemen (1960)
I suspect it's easily tested with any other TV show or movie, just seeing if the subtitle delay setting seems to make any difference after 13 or 14 etc.
