Hi,
I have 2 Amazon FTV Gen2 having the same issue.
When I load Kodi, I can open an app and start watching, within less then 2 min, Amazon home screen pops up and kicks out Kodi app.
Has anyone encountered this issue? Is this because of an update from Amazon? Any advice would be appreciated.

This may not be the correct names but you should be able to work it out. Hi to the Amazon ftv settings. Find applications. Look for Kodi. Clear the cache. Launch Kodi again. See if that works for you.
Well I tried what you suggested on both and same issue persists. Any other suggestions would be helpful.

Same thing is happening to me. Additionally, it is doing it to my friends AMZ TV as well. Tried clearing the cache, but still doing it. Hopefully someone has a solution.
No debug log - no issue.
What app(s) are you attempting to view?
It doesn't matter what app is used, Amazon home screen launches into foreground in after a few moments of launching Kodi.
How and where do I get the debug log?
