Hi

I installed the latest Kodi on a Samsung Homesync. The device has Android 4.2.2, 2GB Ram, 1TB Storage and an Exynos 5250, 1.7GHz Dual-core.

Basically everything works fine, but every DVD I play (vob files) is choppy. I get lots of skipped frames. The info screen shows ff-mpeg2video is used.
I tried
  • Disabling or changing deinterlace
  • Playing with all refresh rate / sync settings
  • Playing with hw acceleration settings

Nothing helped. Shouldn't this hardware be powerfull enough to play MPEG2?

I tried to play the same DVD with BSPlayer on the same device and there it runs flawlessly.
Nobody having similar issues with DVD/MPEG playback...?
check your deinterlacer setting, force it to bob_invert
Thanks.
Tried it and all other dienterlace settings, problem is still there.
