I installed the latest Kodi on a Samsung Homesync. The device has Android 4.2.2, 2GB Ram, 1TB Storage and an Exynos 5250, 1.7GHz Dual-core.
Basically everything works fine, but every DVD I play (vob files) is choppy. I get lots of skipped frames. The info screen shows ff-mpeg2video is used.
I tried
Nothing helped. Shouldn't this hardware be powerfull enough to play MPEG2?
I tried to play the same DVD with BSPlayer on the same device and there it runs flawlessly.

- Disabling or changing deinterlace
- Playing with all refresh rate / sync settings
- Playing with hw acceleration settings
