I checked HDR10 + YCbRc 4.2.0 10Bit and 8Bit with the last beta FW 1.0.4 and the problem persists with all demo 4K HDR.

with the internal player Sony, they're work perfectly.

Quote:•The 23.976 issue has been nailed down: anything under 1920x1080 isn't auto-switching to 23.976. So, 720p is affected, as are any MKV/MP4 re-encodes at like 1920x800 (basically 2.40:1 movie with black bars excised)
•[Video] 23.976 1080p H.264 = pass, playback at proper '23.97' framerate (as my projector indicates). But, frame skips and microstutters are present at resolutions below 1920x1080 (like 720p and 1920x800 as in a re-encoded 2.40:1 aspect ratio MKV)

I thought that auto-switching to 23.976 below 1080p issue is not the same as microshuttering issue at 23.976 on any resolution. So these are 2 different issues as far as I know.

Can anyone confirm that 23.976 microshuttering ONLY occures resolutions below 1920x1080?

Double BUMP.
Seriously, this can be a very misleading information. Can anyone confirm?
Definitely yes for anything under 1920x1080 due to lack of auto-switching for those resolutions, and occasional, random microstutters even for 1920x1080 and above 23.976-based videos.
I would recommend then to change the text:
[Video] 23.976 1080p H.264 = pass, playback at proper '23.97' framerate (as my projector indicates). But, frame skips and microstutters are present at resolutions below 1920x1080 (like 720p and 1920x800 as in a re-encoded 2.40:1 aspect ratio MKV)

To something like this:
[Video] 23.976 1080p H.264 = pass, playback at proper '23.97' framerate (as my projector indicates). But, frame skips and microstutters are present at ANY resolutions particularly below 1920x1080 (like 720p and 1920x800 as in a re-encoded 2.40:1 aspect ratio MKV) because of the auto-switching issue.

I think there are some misunderstandings here. Q10 pro can decode FLAC to lossless PCM (which is bit to bit) and send untouched signal to AVR. Since for Android system, if it "touches" this PCM signal, only 44.1kHz come out as many android developer forum mention this

yes , only FLAC -> PCM with himedia music APP.

Old DTS-CD 5.1 ( *.wav ) forrmat passthrough work well, for sample.

DSD SACD : not yet supported.

Hi Looun, please go to Futeko for my answer, I cannot inbox or reply in Kodi (dont know why)

I have bought a Q5 Pro from China and want to upgrade it to the Eng version and use Kodi, wrapper etc. How can i manage it? Is there anyone can help me?

You can NOT, Eng and China version are different.

hi,

is this true for the Q10 Pro as well? Where can we buy a Q5 Pro or Q10 Pro in English version?
There is no U.S. version. Basically, an international English market version, and a Chinese market version.
i talk about reseller

I have got my Q10Pro yesterday. First impression is very good. Nod PQ is excellent via media center but not so good with Kodi (I know I need the Wrapper).
I need more time to know the media player but I'm sure that we will good friends. Big Grin

himedia media center and Kodi ( mediacodec surface enabled ) have same PQ, both use OMX hisilicon layer decoding and post processing....
himedia media center ONLY suppoer autoswtich 24p and audio HD, kodi not... we waiting support.
As this forum relates to both Q5 Pro & Q10 Pro.. can the actual users please confirm if both of them, Q5 and Q10 can do Dolby Atmos Passthrough?
I have Atmos receiver and want to buy one which can pass through/play Atmos so i can enjoy the same when connected to my HT through Atmos receiver.

Whats the main difference between the two. My usage is pure 1080, non 3d ,media playback.
